Cath Elliott – College Administrator (Academic)
Cath was born in Ashton-Under-Lyne and bought up in a Catholic household. She made a personal commitment to Christ as a teenager and attended various Catholic churches and then a Baptist church whilst studying in Birmingham where she met her husband, Steve.
After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cath moved back to Manchester and worked as a graduate engineer before moving into IT as a database programmer. She took a career break when her daughter was born, and, following some time working as a gardener, Cath joined NBC in 2009.
Cath provides support for the principals and tutors in academic administration. She is responsible for much of the organisation of processes around student learning (the non-accredited side). She is normally in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Cath and Steve (an electrical engineer) were married in 1993 at Ivy Cottage Evangelical church in Didsbury and now attend Didsbury Baptist Church with their teenage daughter, Louise who has no interest what-so-ever in engineering.
Cath still enjoys gardening. She loves reading, enjoys walking and being outdoors and loves holidays with family. She does not support any football team and is likely to glaze over if the subject is raised.
