Sally Nelson - Dean of St Hild

Sally is a Baptist minister, and is the hub Baptist tutor at St Hild, where she teaches Christian doctrine and pastoral care. She read chemistry before completing a PhD on narrative and suffering, and has research and teaching interests in the theology of disability. Sally is an adjunct lecturer at Cliff College and has also taught systematics at Moorlands Midland Centre. She is Training Officer for the YBA and was until recently the non-stipendiary pastor of a small church whose premises are a secondhand bookshop. Sally edits SU's Encounter with God and the Baptist Ministers' Journal.
